About Glen to Glen Woodworking

My name’s Kelton Jennings, I created Glen to Glen Woodworking in early 2024. I have a background in music education where I got my degree at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. It’s there I met my wife where we both were pursuing our music degrees. After college we both taught band and choir respectively for several years. After feeling burnt out, both me and my wife decided to leave teaching to pursue other avenues. In the meantime while I figured out what that avenue was, I was hired as a woodworker at a local small business, where I learned some great skills in the woodworking/manufacturing field. It was there I developed a love for the craft, and decided to combine my two passions, and thus Glen to Glen Woodworking was born. “Glen to Glen” coming from one of my favorite pieces of music, Danny Boy, taken from the lyric “from glen to glen and down the mountainside.”

Aside from teaching, I have a performance background as a saxophonist and have experience performing in semi-professional to professional level groups such as the Green Bay Jazz Orchestra. While I don’t get around to performing as much nowadays, my time is spent mostly with my wife and our first child. We live in the country and enjoy gardening, fishing, and in general living the peaceful life we always wanted.

From one educator/musician to another, my aim for this business is to provide quality products to educators and musicians alike. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.
