A handcrafted/hand-turned conducting baton, made from red oak. As a former music educator and band conductor I understand the importance of a good baton that not only feels good in your hand, but is well balanced. Generally each baton is well balanced at 12 inches in length (from the tip of the fiberglass rod, to the butt of the handle).
